Lutsenko may be transferred to private hospital in Kyiv tomorrow – mass media

Ex Interior Minister of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko may be transferred to a private hospital in Kyiv, where he will be operated, on January 17.

Press secretary of the People’s Self Defense Larysa Sargan said this to “Segodnya” newspaper.

“We suppose that he will be transferred from the penal colony on January 17. All details concerning a doctor and an operation remain still unknown. Postoperational rehabilitation, according to the words of doctors, should last some weeks in order to avoid a threat of internal hemorrhage”, - she said.

The state penitentiary service says that it depends on conclusions of doctors, who will say how long the ex Interior Minister will stay in hospital.
