Ukraine on Tuesday condemned the latest nuclear test of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), according to Xinhua.

"Ukraine, as the OSCE chairmanship which voluntarily gave up the nuclear arsenal, condemns the DPRK move," Foreign Ministry Spokesman Evgen Perebyynis said during a briefing.

The OSCE, with the full name The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, is believed to be the world's largest inter-regional security organization, comprising 57 states of Europe, Central Asia and North America.

Perebyynis said Ukraine is deeply concerned that the DPRK's latest nuclear test, carried out contrary to relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, may aggravate tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
