He noted that “we may and are ready to take part in creating the coalition”. At the same time he stressed that they will never enter any coalition.

According to him, the process of creating factions in parliament may begin only after the coalition is created.

Asked by journalists whether the future faction, created by the Lytvyn’s Bloc, will vote for the candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of Premier, V.Lytvyn stressed: “if we do not enter the coalition, it’s a topic for discussion for us”. According to him, it is necessary to look at the program, whether it will include the program principles of the Lytvyn’s Bloc, in particular, concerning the pension reform, the attitude to land issue, payment for work, and questions concerning the electoral system.

Commenting on the recent frustrations of working group sittings, concerning the organization of the first session of the new parliament, V.Lytvyn said: “we have to look for common points of contact, because a conflict in a working group can turn into a conflict in parliament.“ According to V.Lytvyn, the first session of the Verkhovna Rada will probably take place on 20-23 November.
