The Block of Yulia Tymoshenko will transfer to opposition, should the Party of Regions and Our Ukraine create the coalition. BYT leader Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this in an interview to journalists today.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she disclosed that today two significant events took place in the Verkhovna Rada. First of all, Our Ukraine member Yuri Kliuchkovskiy claimed that Our Ukraine does not conduct any talks with the Party of Regions, and in several minutes other Our Ukraine member Roman Zvarych said the opposite.
According to the BYT leader, this indicates that in Our Ukraine “there is mess and disorder, a total and absolute degradation of any course, and I think that we have been watching this recently in the country’s leadership”.
The second significant event, according to Yulia Tymoshenko, is that the Party of Regions and Our Ukraine voted together for announcing an interval in the parliamentary session till Tuesday, 20 June.
Yulia Tymoshenko noted that, as of today, BYT is working out a strategy of its work in the opposition. “We will have a very exact system of measures. As soon as Our Ukrainians announce about their coalition with the Party of Regions, we will announce our strategy of struggle for Ukraine. We will never allow clans to tear the peaces”, she said, adding that Ukraine will never return to the Kuchma’s époque.
She also does not rule out that VictorYanukovych, the Party of Regions front-runner, may become the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
