EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana hailed the people of Ukraine on the occasion of the March 26 parliamentary elections, which he stated as fair and just, according to Ukrinform.
In his statement, which was circulated by his office, Javier Solana stressed that the elections in Ukraine were consonant to international democratic standards and so created new standards for Ukraine`s furfuturether.
