Physician from Ivano-Frankovsk Serhiy Monakhov perished last weekend in Solwezi - the capital of the northwestern province of Zambia.
He was found with a bullet in his chest in a room under the hospital, where 55-year old anaesthetist had been working for the recent 8 months, “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine” reports.
In Zambia, where there is a lack of physicians, they have reacted sharply to the death of the Ukrainian physician. After his death his colleagues carried out a rally near the hospital demanding to ensure security of physicians, in particular the foreign ones.
