BYT front-runner Yulia Tymoshenko arrived to the Presidential Secretariat at noon today to meet with Victor Yushchenko.
“I want to create a coalition, and to return to over aims, which we had during the presidential elections”, Yulia Tymoshenko said to journalists before the meeting, “Ukrayinska Pravda” reports.
Asked whether Victor Yushchenko will agree to propose her candidacy on the post of the Prime Minister, Yulia Tymoshenko said: “I believe presently we must better speak about the principles and aims of returning to over former ideals”.
Asked about an eventual coalition with the Party of Regions, she said: “Let me talk with the President”.
According to the information of the President’s press-office, today President is holding political consultations with chiefs of parties and blocks – leaders of the parliamentary race, in particular, with Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT), Yuri Yekhanurov (Our Ukraine), Victor Yanukovych (Party of Regions), and Oleksander Moroz (SPU).
