President: OU – PSD must unite

President Victor Yushchenko in his interview with BBC Ukraine expressed his belief that Our Ukraine – Public Self Defense Bloc has to become a single political party, according to the President`s press-office. “I have only one wish that all nine political parties [that constitute OU – PSD Bloc] united in one party. That they offered their hands to each other. That they created a political project leading to creation of a single party”, - President said.

V. Yushchenko called such single party “a path that national democracy must walk”.
