Tomenko asserts opposition gathered 250 million dollars to bribe lawmakers
For voting on its candidacy for speaker’s post
BYT faction deputy chief Mykola Tomenko asserts that the opposition gathered 250 million dollars to bribe lawmakers that they vote positively on its candidacy for the post of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine chairman.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he disclosed this to journalists today.
M.Tomenko said that, according to his information, 250 million dollars were gathered so that, over bribing lawmakers and buying voting ballots, their candidate, Party of Regions faction leader Victor Yanukovych, become the speaker.
