The press service said that teams from the State Service for Emergency Situations are operating in the two areas. The exact location and nature of the damage caused by the shelling is being determined.
The City Council also reported that yesterday, on October 21, intensive restoration works on power networks was underway in Donetsk. Emergency teams repaired 11 substations of the Smolianka-220 station, restoring power supplies not only to residential buildings in the Kuibyshev and Leninsky districts, but also for the No. 3, 4, 5, 8 and 16 tram services. Transport services on these routes have been resumed.
The council said water supply services in Donetsk are relatively stable. All major facilities of city water company Donetskgorvodokanal are operating, the council said.
