Ihor Reptyukh of Ukraine wins the men's 20km free, standing in a time of 44:52:04.
Benjamin Daviet followed 1:56 minutes later to take the silver. Hakon Olsrud of Norway took the bronze with a tie of 47:10.6, the PyeongChang 2018 official website said.
Reptyukh's first ever Olympic gold medal was earned in one of the toughest cross-country distances and required the athlete to push through the strain.
"20 kilometres is a long race. In this time everything happens to you. First there is elation, then tiredness, then your body screams, 'I can't'. You go through all the stages," he said.
It was the second medal of PyeongChang 2018 for Daviet, with the athlete continuing France's strong form at the Paralympics.
