Government opposed to creating new intermediaries at gas supplies – Tymoshenko

The government is opposed to creating new intermediaries at gas supplies and sales.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference after the government’s session today.

“The government will not allow any intermediaries any more. Naftohaz Ukrayiny must take gas directly from Gazprom, without creating any additional new exotic intermediaries. We do not need any intermediaries inside Ukraine as well. The gas may be sold by Naftohaz Ukrayiny without any problems, it has all organizational opportunities for that”, she said.

At the same time, Yulia Tymoshenko stressed she does not mind if Russia sells gas by means of creating supplies,, which will have to receive respective licenses.
