Artillery among Russian ‘aid’ convoy in Donetsk caught on tape (Video)

CCTV footage from the militant-held city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine has emerged over the weekend showing a Russian humanitarian aid truck being followed by trucks towing artillery pieces.

The purpose of the humanitarian aid convoys from Russia is increasingly being questioned, with former NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen suggesting in August that the convoys might be used by Moscow to resupply Russian-backed separatists.

In the face of the posting on Twitter by the British Embassy in Ukraine of images of Russian T72 BM tanks in eastern Ukraine, and eye-witness accounts of Russian military convoys crossing into Ukraine in UK newspapers the Guardian and Telegraph, the Kremlin has sought to impose a media blackout on reports of Russia's military involvement in the Donbas.
