"As of July 5, Ukraine has high-quality Canadian antitoxins, which are necessary to ensure the possibility of immediate treatment of botulism cases. Patients who were affected by botulism got anti-botulinum serums, now their condition is stable. These 12-dose serums were delivered on June 25 as humanitarian aid under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in response to a request from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine," the center said.

The government for the first time has included specific serums and immunoglobulins, including botulinum antitoxin, in the list of medicines and medical products purchased by international specialized organizations for state budget funds in 2018, and which will be delivered in the near future.
