Tymchuk: GRU officers are on demarcation line in Donbas
Russian intelligence officers have been observed in the area between Krasnohorivka and Pisky in Ukriane’s Donbas conflict zone, presenting themselves as representatives of the group establishing the line of demarcation, head of the Information Resistance group Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.
"These Russian soldiers move freely in the areas of Ukrainian army positions. Meanwhile, we have identified officers of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate among these representatives of the Russian Federation," Tymchuk said.
Meantime, the command of the Russian-terrorist troops has been actively pursuing a rotation of personnel units in Kuibyshevskiy district of Donetsk, which operate on front line between Pisky and Avdiivka. The appearance of Russian troops in the village of Spartak has also been observed.
"Russian-backed insurgents are continuing to reinforce their units near the village of Triohizbenka. The arrival of another enemy task force from Alchevsk has been observed," Tymchuk said.
"The task group consists of about 150 people. It has four tanks and six armored fighting vehicles. The arrival of two MT-12 Rapira anti-tank guns in this region has also been recorded," he added.
