According to the gathered opinions, Ukrainians tend to believe that reintegration of the local communities into Ukraine is possible within one to four years’ term, given the Russian occupation ends, Ukraine Today has found. The change in attitude of some eastern Ukrainian residents away from hatred is considered important.

While acknowledging certain dependency of the region’s fate on the world community and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decisions, the respondents say that the country itself must implement necessary reforms to succeed as a whole.
