Thousands of Russian troops, stockpiles of military vehicles and weaponry were pictured from space at the 40-square-kilometer site, which may have been set up in August 2014 just 130 kilometers away from militant-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk.

Earlier, EU, NATO, the Russian Red Cross and Ukrainian officials repeatedly accused the Kremlin of supplying militants with weapons, often via notorious “humanitarian aid convoys.”
