The State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine has announced that specialists of SES bomb squads have destroyed almost 14,500 explosive items across the country since January 1, 2019.
"Bomb squads of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine carry out everyday work on surveying the country's territory, as well as identifying, seizing, and destroying explosive objects, both remnants of past wars and modern ammunition. In the period from the beginning of 2019 to May 2, the SES squads have already destroyed 14,486 explosive objects, including 106 aerial bombs," the State Emergency Service said on its website.
