Yatseniuk: Road deaths in Ukraine up by 22%

"I looked at the statistics – road deaths increased by 22% in 2014. This is unacceptable," Yatseniuk said.

According to Yatseniuk, the Ukrainian government must do everything possible so that Ukraine never sees a repeat of the kind of tragedy that happened on Monday in Poltava region.

"Today there was a terrible tragedy on the highway in the Poltava region. Seven people were killed and nine seriously injured in a car accident, when the truck collided with a passenger bus. Both vehicles had no appropriate technical documentation and were converted without permits," Yatseniuk said.
