"A total of 16 people, including officers of the Ukrainian armed forces, the Interior Ministry, Ukraine’s SBU state security service, and other armed groups were detained during the first stage of a special operation along the line of contact for corruption, abduction, robbery, smuggling, extortion, and issuing false passes," he said.
"Such socially dangerous crimes were carried out by certain corrupt officials in the territories controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. An SBU colonel and police officers were among those detained who issued false passes," Nalyvaichenko said.
