Operatives of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with representatives of the Black Sea TV and radio company have blocked a cyberattack on the company's broadcast server.
"Officers of the SBU's Department of counterintelligence protection of state interests in the field of information security have established the cyber attack was aimed at blocking and disabling all key elements of broadcast control and backup. Using malicious software, the attackers gained control of the server equipment of the broadcasting company and took the system down," the SBU wrote on Facebook.

The SBU neutralized the cyberattack and blocked its negative impact on the company's broadcast server.
"Now the work of the broadcasting company has been fully restored, and its team together with the SBU experts are developing a more reliable system for protecting server equipment from the external illegal interference," the SBU added.
