The blast follows the Tuesday incident in Odesa which involved an IED damaging a section of a busy railway track, but also causing no harm to railway personnel, Ukraine Today reports.

The latest blast raises concerns, as the security cameras were turned off at the time of the blast due to the power being shut off, which is unusual.

A series of similar terrorist acts have been committed in the past months in Odesa, Kyiv and Kharkiv, mostly targeting the offices of pro-Ukrainian volunteer organizations.
