Exclusive Interview: Dmitry Martson on lustration in Ukraine (Video)
After Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a lustration law last autumn, long publicly awaited, Ukrainians hoped for a more effective battle by the new government against endemic corruption.
According to the lustration law, up to one million civil servants are to be screened for their involvement in the crimes of the regime of Viktor Yanukovich, to prevent them from holding office further on.
Dmitry Martson, a member of the coordination council for the Kharkiv public lustration chamber gave Ukraine Today an exclusive interview elaborating on the progress of the lustration campaign.
