Gazprom demands Ukraine pay for gas supplies to militant-occupied Donbas (Video)
Russian energy giant Gazprom insisted on Tuesday that Ukraine pay for gas supplies Russia has sent to militant-controlled territories in the Donbas.
The monopoly’s Deputy Head Alexander Medvedev added during a press conference that Gazprom would halt all gas transit via Ukraine after 2019, Ukraine Today reports.
Gazprom also announced a higher gas price for Ukraine for the third quarter of 2015 - $287.
