President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has posted on Facebook congratulations on International Women's Day.
"In my childhood years, on March 8, men gave women flowers and talked about how, with their love, beauty and care, they inspire the 'strong gender' for feats. But in fact, women themselves perform feats, every day. They defend their homeland, teach children, treat patients, and save lives, manage companies, make scientific discoveries, and create art. They manage to combine work, family, friends, leisure, sports, self-development, and charity, while still remembering where we, men, put our stuff," Zelensky wrote in his address.

"We are ready to help you with everything so that you can become whoever your soul desires. After all, we love," the president concluded.
UNIAN memo. International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8. This year it's Sunday so Ukrainians will be provided an additional day-off the following day, March 9.
