Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov is urging Ukrainians to limit their trips across the country over the situation with the Covid-19 coronavirus.
The statement came during a Kyiv briefing following an NSDC meeting on Friday, an UNIAN correspondent reports.
"We have a big request: to limit travel within the country, to limit as much as possible any movement while abroad, in order to protect ourselves from the disease that is raging across the world," Danilov said.

UNIAN memo. In late December, Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown origin in the city of Wuhan. The causative agent of the disease was a new type of coronavirus, Covid-19.
The virus is transmitted from person to person, the incubation period is about two weeks.
In Ukraine, to date, three lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded, one of them lethal.
As of the morning of March 13, a total of 128,343 cases of coronavirus infection were registered across the world, with 4,720 deaths and 68,324 recoveries.
