“Kultura” Russian TV-channel was forbidden to broadcast songs by famous Russian singer Yuri Shevchuk, Ekho Moskvy reports. Besides, this year Shevchuk was not invited for the first time to take part in the traditional concert in memory of Bulat Okudzhava. Instead of him, leader of “Mashyna Vremeni” group Andrei Makarevich will perform at the concert. Probably, Yuri Shevchuk was banned because he took part in the “March of Dissenting”, which took place in St. Petersburg on March 3. The singer claimed he took part in the march because “he had no other choice”. As of today, the leadership of “Kultura” TV-channel has not provided any comments.
