Ukraine, Belarus football fans donate blood for wounded soldiers
The charity event set to help the Ukrainian troops wounded in Donbas warzone was held the day the two teams faced off in a Euro 2016 qualifier in Lviv, with dozens of fans stopping by, some dressed in T-shirts with national flags, according to Ukraine Today.
"We understand that now there is a competition between good and evil. Those people not choked by Russian news understand everything correctly and understand the truth," said Angela Kambalova, one of the Belarus football fans, Ukraine Today reports.
“We are the same blood" and “together forever" were the popular slogans of the day as both sets of fans participated in a joint march before the match.
