Naftohaz Ukrayiny NJSC (Ukraine) and Gazprom OJSC (Russia) have agreed that Gazprom Sbyt Ukraine (a subsidiary of Gazprom) will supply natural gas to the following Ukrainian industrial enterprises: Rivneazot OJSC, Crimean Soda Plant OJSC, and Krymskiy Tytan close corporation, since May of the current year. All of these enterprises are controlled by Ukrainian businessman Dmitriy Firtash.

According to Naftohaz Ukrayiny press-center, the agreements were achieved at the talks between the two companies’ CEOs in Moscow on April 22.

Besides, the parties agreed that the gas, consumed by enterprises of D.Firtash in March-April, will be paid off on the agreement between Gas of Ukraine subsidiary and Naftohaz Ukrayiny OJSC.

The Firtash’s stakes in these companies have been transferred to Ostchem Germany GmbH, which is a part of OstChem Holding AG, which is also controlled by D.Firtash. 90% of shares of OstChem Holding AG belong to Group DF, which belongs to D.Firtash.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftohaz Ukrayiny, through its subsidiary Gas of Ukraine, signed contracts on natural gas supplies with 138 biggest industrial enterprises of Ukraine.

Earlier natural gas to these consumers was supplied by UkrGas-Energo (50% of it belonged to Naftohaz Ukrayiny, and 50% - to RosUkrEnergo).
