Amendments must be urgently introduced into state budget-2008 – Shlapak

Top deputy President’s Chief of Staff, President’s representative to the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksander Shlapak claims it is necessary to urgently introduce amendments into the state budget-2008.

He claimed this to journalists today, answering a question of an UNIAN correspondent.

“We already have 13% of cumulative inflation. Thus, 13% [of income] have already been withdrawn from every pensioner and citizen. Clearly, it is time to make decision… It is necessary to settle this issue, to return pensioners [the money] they lost because of the inflation”, he said.
