SBU reveals fake web portal "Register for permits to move in ATO zone"

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has revealed a fake web resource that copies the SBU's web portal "Register for permits to move in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone," the SBU's press center told an UNIAN correspondent.

"Fake portal is located at 0s.ovzha.xxxxxxxxxxx.erenta.ru. A reference to it is being actively shared in Russian social networks and positioned as a proven possibility to obtaine permits to cross the demarcation line. The domain name is registered by a Russian company, the displaying of the portal in the network is also provided by Russian resources," the report says.

The security officers recorded a theft of citizens' personal data, which are entered into web forms of the fake web portal. According to operational information, Russian security services and experts hired by them are involved in the creation of the resource, the SBU said.
