Two Russian soldiers "accidentally" cross into Ukraine, get detained
On November 26, the Ukrainian border guards detained two Russian citizens dressed in military uniform with insignia of internal troops of the Russian Federation, for illegal crossing of the state border near the Melove checkpoint in eastern Luhansk region, the State Border Guard Service press secretary Oleh Slobodian wrote on Facebook on Friday.
According to Slobodian, it turned out that these servicemen were from one of the military units of internal troops of the Russian Interior Ministry, who were allegedly travelling to Armavir (Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation), in their words, "to pass exams for the right to wear a dark green beret."
During the questioning, the detainees explained that they had "accidentally" crossed into Ukraine.
