President: Questions between Ukraine and Russia are subject to dialogue

Answering a question about Ukrainian-Russian relations at his press availability in Ljubljana, President Victor Yushchenko emphasized that it would be a major mistake to revise them, according to the President`s press-office.  “Our approach towards organizing our bilateral Ukrainian-Russian relations is to base them on friendship. These relations are of strategic nature”, - he said.

According to him all the important questions of Ukrainian-Russian relations should be solved exclusively through dialogue. “We proceed from the idea that all the sensible questions for our relations are undoubtedly subject to talks and bilateral dialogue”, - he said.
