Government established Commission on investigation into explosion at C. Marks mine
All foreign trips of Cabinet officials postponed
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko ordered to set up a Government Commission on investigation of reasons and consequences of the explosion at the Carl Marks mine in the town of Yenakiyevo of the Donetsk region, according to the government’s press-office.
First Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Turchynov heads the Commission.
At 13.00 p.m. the Commission departs to the sight of tragedy. Minister of Coal Industry Viktor Poltavets is already there. In this connection, all foreign trips of the Cabinet officials are postponed.
