Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko relies that the Parliament will back the program of privatization for 2008 as well as Government Action Program “Ukrainian Breakthrough”. Yulia Tymoshenko announced today at a briefing on answering the journalists’ questions, according to the government’s press-office.
Premier reminded that the Verkhovna Rada had supported the project of the privatization program submitted by the Government in the first reading. “Today it is the Parliament who is responsible whether it will be voted in whole”. At this Yulia Tymoshenko announced that certain factions of the Parliament are blocking including into the agenda of VR sessions both the privatization program and Government Activity Program “Ukrainian Breakthrough”.
The Head of Gov’t explained that all planned from privatization earnings stay in 2008 budget: “We realize that sooner or later sound mind will return to the Parliament and the politics.”
