Government will hand over to Prosecutor General of Ukraine materials of the Main Control and Revision Department with regard to check ups of power abuse on the part of officials of antecedent Government at UkrZaliznytsya, NaftoGaz of Ukraine, EnergoAtom as well as enterprises of coal industry. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced that on opening the Gov’t session Wednesday, according to the government’s press-office.
Yulia Tymoshenko was heard as saying that today the Government sitting will hear a report of the head of Control and Revision Department (CRD) Mykola Syvulsky concerning the facts of abuses with budget money on the part of the previous government. “Such large-scale financial abuses haven’t been experienced by the country before,” Premier of Ukraine claimed. She informed that within one year plundering of state property to the tune of 10.2 bn UAH has been fixed by the acts of CRD.
Yulia Tymoshenko is convinced that such large-scale abuses have entailed bankruptcy of NaftoGaz, UkrZaliznytsya, EnergoAtom. “Last year’s team at power was a group of huge kleptomaniacs appointed by the Regions Party and the Socialists,” she emphasized.
Yulia Tymoshenko promised that in the course of every following meeting with journalists she means to provide them with information concerning institution of criminal proceedings, bringing guilty to account. “We will make one more fundamental step towards establishment of order within Ukraine,” Prime Minister of Ukraine announced. She also added that she has an intention “not only to establish a fact of plundering of the State Budget of Ukraine by Viktor Yanukovych’s Government”, but to force them to return the money to the State Budget of Ukraine.
