The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and the Chemical Technology Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute” (NTUU “KPI”) announce the opening of a new, advanced Technical and Educational Center for Water Treatment in the Chemical Technology Department of NTUU “KPI”.  The official inauguration ceremony of the Technical and Educational Center will take place at the Chemical Technology Department of NTUU “KPI” on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10.30.

Dow’s global commitment to creating innovative technologies and solutions to solving the world’s most pressing problems has identified the objectives and activities of NTUU “KPI” as a natural opportunity for partnership. The installation of the new Center for Water Treatment, that includes Dow Water Solution’s world-class products, will help NTUU “KPI” students to further develop their knowledge and experience of the water treatment industry. The Center’s aim is to promote awareness about the importance of water and the most appropriate usage of this precious resource.

With its 110 years of history, the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute” (NTUU “KPI”) is one of the oldest and biggest universities in Europe.
