Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko insists on the quickest approval of the Government Action Program. The Head of Government announced during a meeting with the VR Speaker Arseniy Yatseniuk and leaders of factions of parliamentary coalition, according to the government’s press-office.
According to Yulia Tymoshenko the draft Government Action Program of the Cabinet of Ministers “Ukrainian Breakthrough: for People, not for Politicians” which already for 6 months idles in the Verkhovna Rada, containing steps long awaited by the Ukrainian society as well as pre-election promises of all without exception political forces.
“It is a perfect chance to demonstrate serving the people but not their political parties,” the Head of Gov’t stressed.
Yulia Tymoshenko takes the Program of Government Activity as a consolidating document amending and making more precise a draft law “On the principles of home and foreign policy of Ukraine till 2010” which is also to be approved the following week. At this Yulia Tymoshenko added that the Cabinet of Ministers completely supports approval by the Verkhovna Rada of this draft law.
