The Government is keeping on working stably, irrespective of all the political intrigues, confrontations and political chaos. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko declared at a press conference today, according to the government’s press-office.

The Head of Government stressed that yesterday’s events in the Verkhovna Rada proved that all half-years’ provocations concerning the fact that 230 or even 320 votes would be found in the Parliament for the Government’s dismissal have appeared an absolute lie. “Only in the last day of operation of the Parliament before the recess it has become evident that the Government is holding stably, the Government is operating stably and no 230 or 320 votes for the dismissal in the Parliament can not threaten,” Prime Minister emphasized.

Yulia Tymoshenko compared yesterday’s day in the Parliament to a final match in football. “The Regions Party had an opportunity to make a penalty kick, at that into the goals without a goalkeeper,” she said. Prime Minister has emphasized that the Government hadn’t hampered to the Regions Party to consider the issues on the dismissal.

According to the Head of Government she was pleased to observe the Regions Party had been gathering their deputies from all the seas of the world in order to dismiss the Government. “All charters, private planes, submarines had been in a hurry,” Premier urged. Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that the Regions Party had even called for a deputy from the polar circle where he was hunting for a seal. “Owing to such a position in terms of the Gov’t dismissal at least one seal has left alive,” the Premier said. She emphasized that in spite of all the efforts paid by the Regions Party they haven’t achieved a goal.”

Yulia Tymoshenko underlined that the only fact that hurt was the part of the deputies of the President’s party Our Ukraine – National Self-Defence voted for the dismissal. “I can admit it is a very unpleasant blow which the President has personally stricken to the Government team,” Prime Minister said. She added that the fact that their people had voted for the dismissal has become a proof how hard it is to keep within the democratic coalition.
