Almost 43% of Citizens Support Ukraine’s Joining EU – Poll

Some 42.9% of citizens support Ukraine’s joining the European Union.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, this is the result of a poll, conducted by “Freedom Fund”, and publicized by fund chief Ihor Dementiev at a press conference in Kyiv today.

In particular, some 42.9% of those polled support Ukraine’s joining the EU, some 28.34% are opposed to this, some 17.7% could not answer the question, and some 11.1% are not going to take part in an eventual referendum on entering EU.

The poll was conducted during March 12-19. On the whole, 1283 respondents aged over 18 years old were polled. The error margin makes some 2,9%.
