Near half of the houses damaged by the natural disaster in Western Ukraine were not registered officially.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko said during the visit to Chernoguzy village in the Chernovtzy Oblast, which suffered most of all from the flood, within the frameworks of this working visit to Bukovyna.

Speaking with residents of the village, V. Yushchenko said about measures, which are taken by the state for elimination of the consequences of the ecological catastrophe, particularly in their village and in all 6 Oblasts suffered from the flood.

The President assured local residents that the houses will be restored during 4 months, and the same time he noted that the corresponding general plan has already been elaborated and necessary means have been allocated for realization of these plans.
