According to her, she has intent to carry out telephone conversations with representatives of local power bodies from disaster-hit regions, in order to discuss with them the issue of timely payments to the victims.

Yulia Tymoshenko also claimed that the local authorities deliberately understate amounts of citizens’ losses, and trim amounts of reimbursement. “I will hold very substantial conversations with local power bodies because they must not treat people in such a way”, Yulia Tymoshenko said.

On July 4, the Prime Minister paid visits to several villages of the Chernivtsi Oblast, spoke to local residents, visited their houses, and got evidence that local authorities commit injustice to people who suffered from the floods.
