Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko states that no strong floods are expected in Ukraine in the nearest future, according to the government’s press-office. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko disclosed this while visiting the flooded village of Ustya-Zelene of the Monastyrskyi area of the Ternopil region.

“I am confident that nothing of the kind will repeat,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed. According to the Premier, rains can be expected because of the extensive water evaporation but they will be local.

The Head of Government reminded that, according to the historical records, Ukraine had never faced such heavy showers in the last 200 years.
