Odesa Security Forum: Hybrid solutions to security in Black Sea region and beyond
Ukraine Today highlights key aspects of the two-day event which brought to Odesa over 60 top opinion makers from around the world – international security experts and analysts – on March 24-25.
The discussion focused on main security threats in the Black Sea region and ways to address them, Ukraine Today reports.
The event was organized by NATO, Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, German Marshal Fund and Charity Fund 'Prydunav'ya' and brought together more than 60 experts in the defense and security area.
There was something uniquely special about this event. Not only was it the 1st Odesa Security Forum, its speakers and participants have a proven track-record of dedication to international peace and justice. With the exception of those whose mandate prevented them from speaking freely, most spoke sincerely and candidly about the war in Ukraine, the dangers of Russian propaganda and the hypocrisy of state and non-state actors in this time of so-called hybrid war.
