All Ukrainians willing to leave Georgia returned home
The last two groups arrived on Wednesday morning
To date 13 August, in accordance with the order of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko on immediate evacuation of the Ukrainian citizens from Georgia, all Ukrainians and their families willing to return to Ukraine from the conflict area are conveyed home, according to the government’s press-office.
The last two groups of Ukrainians have arrived to the Boryspil international airport this morning – they are 26 people from the city of Tbilisi and about 110 people from the town of Batumi.
As the Prime Minister of Ukraine promised, representatives of the Ukrainian Government had not refused any compatriot to return home from the conflict area.
Efficient return of the Ukrainian citizens from Georgia became possible due to well coordinated work of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Emergencies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
