Ukraine`s parliament, Verkhovna Rada, has registered a bill to denounce an agreement between Ukraine and Russia on the status and terms of the deployment of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine. Authors of draft bill on condemning military intervention of Russia in Georgia are MPs Volodymyr Aryev and Yuri Stes from Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense Party.
Aryev noted that the draft envisaged laying a claim in International Court in the Hague for determination of which role played Black Sea marine during the conflict in Georgia.
Vladislav Kaskiv, other MP of Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense Party made second draft bill on denunciation of Agreement signed between Ukraine and Russian Federation on remaining status and terms of Russia’s Black Sea marine in the territory of Ukraine in 2017.
