Defense Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov says the investigation has six versions of fire at the ammunition depots in the Kharkiv Oblast.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he claimed this in the plane flying to the scene of the fire.
“There are six versions of the catastrophe, and it is absolutely unclear why the fire broke out at the 109th ground”, Yuri Yekhanurov said, adding that blasts have ceased, and the most dangerous parts of the depot did not suffer.
At the same time, according to Yuri Yekhanurov, two groups of field engineers will arrive at the depot on Thursday to inspect the zone.
Besides, Yuri Yekhanurov stressed that the ammunition that appeared in the hit zone cannot be used any more.
In his turn, deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov pointed out that last night residents of the 5-km area around the depot were evacuated. According to the information of O.Turchynov, at present no causalities were recorded.
