The Government approved at its sitting thursday a Resolution on initiating a system of reforms for providing the country with Ukrainian medicines. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this to a press conference, according to the government’s press-office.
According to the PM, the Government has reinstated the State Quality Inspection of medicines, which was completely destroyed hitherto, in status of a central government authority, and provided it with financing. “We have envisaged all steps to introduce order into this sphere,” Yulia Tymoshenko said.
The Prime Minister noted that Government had studied in detail the situation concerning the country`s provision with medicines and drafted a series of measures to introduce order in this “very criminal and corrupted sphere”.
