President demands government to start official talks with Russia

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko demands the government to start official talks with the Russian Federation on forming the natural gas price for Ukraine for the year 2009.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, speaking at a session of the National Security and Defense Council on Friday, Victor Yushchenko claimed he had ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to start official talks.

“The statements that have been voiced by the government on this issue should be deciphered, directives should be formed, and we should every day conduct these complicated talks, and not just be busy with whispering to one another”, the President said.
