Kyiv officials plan to increase tariffs on public utilities such as heat and hot water by more than 10 times.

The respective resolution has been posted at the official web site of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The document lists 22 categories of consumers who will have to pay the highest utility tariffs in the city.

In particular, the list includes commercial banks, credit institutions, advertising agencies, tourist firms, stock exchanges, real estate agencies, restaurants, cafes, and pubs, beauty salons, bathhouses, shops trading in jewellery, antiques or arms, telecommunication operators and providers, concert organizers, night clubs, lottery outlets, four and five-star hotels, markets, shops and supermarkets, medical firms (except for state ones), car sales centers and car washes. The list also includes natural persons – owners of nonresidential premises.

Proposals and remarks about the new tariffs may be sent to the Kyiv City State Administration till October 16 of the current year.
